Diatrack
Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective September 26, 2026
- Diatrack is a logbook. It is not a doctor, not a medical device and never tells you how much insulin to take.
- You must be an adult, and you must have the right to keep records about the people you add.
- Your data stays yours. We only use it to run the service for you.
- You decide who you share with and which assistants you connect — and you are responsible for those choices.
- Diatrack is free today and provided as is. Export your data whenever you like.
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Jagdeep Singh Kalsi (“Diatrack”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Diatrack you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Diatrack.
2. Diatrack is not medical advice
Diatrack is a record-keeping tool. It stores what you and the people you trust type into it and shows it back as lists, reports and estimates. It is not a medical device, it has not been reviewed by any health regulator, and nothing in it — including reports, time-in-range figures, nutrition estimates, meal suggestions or anything an AI assistant says using Diatrack data — is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Diatrack never recommends an insulin dose or a change to one. Never decide a dose based on Diatrack alone. Follow your care team’s plan and your meter or CGM readings.
- Nutrition values are estimates, including those filled in by AI. Check the packaging or a source you trust before relying on them.
- Entries can be wrong, late or missing, and the app can be unavailable. Do not use Diatrack as your only record of anything that matters clinically.
- In an emergency — severe hypoglycaemia, ketoacidosis, or any situation where someone is unwell — call your local emergency number or your care team immediately. Diatrack has no emergency features.
3. Who may use Diatrack
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You may add a profile for a child only if you are their parent or legal guardian, and for another adult only with their agreement. By adding a person you confirm that you have the right to keep health records about them and to share those records as described in section 6.
4. Your account
You sign in with a Google or GitHub account (or, where enabled, an email address and password). Keep that account secure: anyone who can sign in as you can see and change every profile you own. Tell us promptly at info@diatrack.app if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for everything done through it until you do. One account per person; do not share sign-in details.
5. Your data
Everything you log belongs to you (or to the person it is about). You give us only the permission we need to store it, back it up, show it to you and to the people and tools you choose, and otherwise run Diatrack as described in the Privacy Policy. That permission ends when the data is deleted. We do not claim ownership, we do not use your data to train models, and we do not sell it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own copy of anything important: Profiles → ⋯ → Download data exports a profile at any time.
6. Sharing and helpers
The owner of a profile may invite other people to it as a viewer (read only) or an editor (read and write). When you invite someone you are deciding to disclose health information about the person in that profile — make sure you are allowed to, and only invite people you trust. Helpers must have their own account, accept the invitation, and follow these terms; they may use the profile only for the purpose it was shared for and may not copy or pass on its contents except as the owner intends. The owner can change a helper’s role or remove them at any time. A helper who leaves keeps nothing; entries they added stay with the profile.
7. AI assistants and tokens
You may create access tokens that let an AI assistant or other software read and add entries on your behalf. A token is a key to your logbook: keep it secret, give it only to software you trust, and revoke it if in doubt. Whatever an assistant does with the information it reads is governed by that assistant’s provider, not by us, and we are not responsible for it. Assistants can make mistakes — check what they log, and never let one influence a treatment decision (section 2). You are responsible for everything done with your tokens, and tokens must not be used to build a competing service, to bulk-extract other people’s data, or to circumvent rate limits.
8. Acceptable use
Do not:
- access or try to access any profile, account or data you were not given access to, or probe the service for vulnerabilities outside a responsible-disclosure report to info@diatrack.app ;
- add a person’s data without the right to do so, or use Diatrack to monitor someone without their knowledge where that is unlawful;
- upload anything unlawful, malicious or infringing, or use the “AI fill” feature for anything other than food names;
- scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service beyond what the law allows;
- use Diatrack to provide medical services to others, or represent its output as clinical advice.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Diatrack available and to back up your data, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change, suspend or retire features. If we ever plan to shut Diatrack down we will give at least 90 days’ notice and keep exports working until then.
10. Fees
Diatrack is currently free. If we introduce paid features we will explain the pricing clearly in advance; nothing you already stored will be held back from you if you choose not to pay.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; this removes every profile you own and the data in them as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we are required by law to close, or that has been unused for 24 months — in the last case after emailing you first, with time to export. Sections 5, 12 to 15 and 17 continue to apply after your account ends.
12. Intellectual property
The Diatrack name, logo, design and software are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by law; these terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service, nothing more. Open-source components remain under their own licences. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without obligation.
13. Disclaimers
Diatrack is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. In particular we do not warrant that reports, calculations, nutrition estimates, suggestions or assistant output are accurate, complete or suitable for any medical decision.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost data you could have exported, or for anything arising from a treatment decision made in reliance on Diatrack, and our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and INR 1,000 .
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing removes the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
15. Your responsibility to us
If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms — for example by adding or sharing a person’s data without the right to — you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result, to the extent the law allows.
16. Mobile apps
The iOS and Android apps are also subject to Apple’s and Google’s store terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no responsibility for the app or its content. The app keeps a copy of your logbook on the device so it works offline; protect the device with a passcode, and sign out before giving it to someone else. Keep the app updated — old versions may stop working.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India , and the courts of Mohali (SAS Nagar), Punjab, India have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have in the country where you live. Please talk to us first — most problems are quicker to fix than to litigate.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you open Diatrack, and the version number at the top will change; if you do not accept, you can export and delete your data. Minor changes take effect when posted.
